Tomorrow's (monday) recap...ahead of time.
We pick it up from where it left off: Sol overhearing the conversation between Franco, Amanda and Gonzalo…when she is caught by Ricardo and taken away because he needs her signature for something. Perfect chance for bribery. Inside, Gonzalo laughs at how absurd is what Tomas said. It’s not that he feels shame for his son’s condition, but Franco says he loves his son more than anything. He knows he’s telling the truth, but they walk away and Amanda reminds him that, if he hurts Tomas, Franco could kill him.
Meanwhile, Diego is being interviewed as Lily keeps herself occupied in Nacho’s presence. Daniela tells Sol about Diego’s interview, and they get in the middle of the interview…Is Sol jealous that Diego is flirting with his interviewer? She intervenes and gets pictures taken as Gonzalo, Nacho and Alvaro watch. By the way, Alvaro had mentioned something about a project he has for a new show, but he won’t say a word. Gonzalo later joins them on the set for the pictures and stuff.
At the office, Amanda proposes that Charly poses as Tomas’ boyfriend, but Franco isn’t very fond of the idea. Judging, he has no other choice. So they call Tomas, who at first doesn’t take it very well, but they explain that it’s just a rumor, so he agrees with the condition that Charly agrees to that. And for that, there’s Amanda Wedell. Oh, his dream has come true and the rumor will be spread faster than you could imagine. On the way out, he bumps into Nacho and she’s the one that starts off the flame. The plan is underway. He goes to Lily, who goes to Alvaro, who tells a bunch of people on the switch.
Still with the rumor that Ricardo’s gay, Lily goes to express her support to him by being displaced. And that’s where he denies it. What does he do? Goes to Franco and Amanda, who make fun of him. Amanda reports to Franco that it’s done, and he wants her to be 24/7 over Gonzalo, just because he’s becoming paranoid and doesn’t want the actor to outsmart them.
Diego, as usual rants to Sol about Gonzalo’s intervention. When she asks what’s wrong with him, he walks off. Nacho tells Sergio the gay couple rumor, who tells Gonzalo (beer-drinking), and still doesn’t figure out what Franco is playing to this time. Daniela tells Sol in turn, and what explained earlier repeats itself…with the exception that she mentions the discussion that happened at the beginning of this episode.
Franco is sharing some philosophical reflection when Diego comes in. He says he’s got something really important to talk to him, that being that thing about Nuñez and the exclusives: A case of treason. But it isn’t so bad, because Andrada tells him to accept, because he could use having a spy at Nuñez’s network to his advantage.
Tomas is at his first day at work at Mega News, and gossip is immediate among the staff. Gonzalo tries to have a coffee in peace, but Ricardo and Amanda are all over him (is it just me or Tomas is happy with this?). Looks to me he’s like one step closer to insanity with this. Diego tells Sol how it went with Franco, but she says she understood the wrong thing because she thought he was going to call it off. But nah, he’s got a much better idea.
Sol gets on the set, Gonzalo joining her shortly. As always, they manage to get a little talk before going on the air. He asks whether she missed him, and the answer is affirmative. Nacho goes to the make-up room, still insisting to charm Daniela. But she does the same as Lily: Tells him she’s got a date with somebody else.
Alvaro is on the phone with his daughter, who says she can’t join him for dinner tomorrow (being his birthday) because she’s got work and studies. He seems disappointed as Gonzalo overhears it. On the way out, he bumps into Charly and uses Ricardo in that situation to get away from the following.
Gonzalo comes into Sol’s dressing room to tell her about Alvaro’s birthday and that he wants to celebrate it to him so that he doesn’t have to spend it alone. Sol didn’t even knew that he had a daughter, and decides to help him out instead of simply buying a gift. At a moment, he starts saying how she impulsed many of the changes that are making him be a better person, and that he’s feeling things. Things that lead to a kiss…just as Amanda comes in. As she storms off, he notices someone was watching, but they choose to head home instead. He asks her to trust in him as they keep on kissing.
Daniela and Lily are talking about guys, clothes and makeup when Nacho comes in and watches them with curiosity. After they leave, Alvaro comes in. He’s still sad about his daughter, and declines when Nacho invites him for a drink. Amanda tells Franco of what she saw, and she doesn’t believe that Gonzalo is in love. I believe otherwise. Ricardo gets scolded for not doing his job. They want to separate them at any cost!
Sol and Gonzalo get home and apparently ready to share a good moment with dinner and a bath, but unfortunately gets a call from Tomas, so he has to play the game just like every night and head there. He comments about Tomas’ party and when he asks him to give him a hand, Franco’s son couldn’t be happier. Sol is home alone, thinking at the words he said earlier when she gets a call from Diego. She’s not in the mood of having him around today.
The next morning, Alvaro is enjoying a burger when Sol and Gonzalo come behind him to wish him a happy birthday. He is surprised that they remembered, but he’s more focused on eating his food. Diego comes into Nuñez’s office with a gift in hand. It’s a brooch as a way of thanking her, but she sees second intentions. Once she’s convinced that it’s fair, she gives him another exclusive. Once Diego leaves, Juan comes in and she says he’s got a plan…and looks to me that Juan is in love with his boss
Gonzalo comes around asking everyone for money for Alvaro’s present and party that night. He comes, but Sol says she’ll treat him to a good day. Then he asks Nacho about what he would like as Tomas takes care of all the arrangements. But for him here is a problem, so he has to go ask Martin for the keys of Alvaro’s house keys to decorate. Wow, everyone is surprised about this sudden gesture of generosity.
Sol bought Alvaro brand new clothes, and everyone is more excited, even him. Franco tells Amanda that they are invited to the party that night as well as Charly has taken his keys from him. Diego is hosting his show and everybody is thrilled to have a good time and dress up.
Night falls and Alvaro gets home to receive a really pleasant surprise. The guests start arriving, but the highlight of the night is when Alvaro gets the gift he was waiting for: the visit of his daughter.
