Tuesday's recap.
The days pass and the entire country is talking about the expectation of the test results. Franco, Ricardo, Sol, Tomas and Gonzalo are waiting for Amanda and her brother to arrive with those…I was right. They turned out to be negative, and Franco is pissed off that, when the announcement is given, it’s so simple, as if it were just another news. Oh, man. He sees it all based on profit! And Gonzalo gives sarcastic news to top it off.
Nacho looks over at all the pictures he’s been sent when an aide from Lily goes to ask for a list, and he asks for her help. She’s scared Lily will catch her, but that was for catching the mystery hand. It was Sergio, who was just fooling around.
Outside, Amanda asks her brother whether he is certain of what he told her. Dr. Wedell replies that she has some sort of sixth sense, because he compared DNA and…Martin and Gonzalo are twins. After that, she and Franco are left alone where he admits he’s left her aside because he’s stressed. But that he will make it up to her soon, but she hasn’t said anything about the twins. But the man has an intuition, so he’ll figure it out soon.
Lily informs them that outside is chaos, and Gonzalo doesn’t want to give any statements. So they come up with a plan: The real couple is taken off in a van, while a second one goes through the front door, two actors posing as Sol and Martin.
Tomas brings Gonzalo a martini, but he says it’s time they relax and that he doesn’t need to please him all the time. Tomas suspects he’s changed, and even more when he asks about his mother, a taboo topic. Meanwhile, Diego gets a call from Nacho to say he’s got another exclusive for his show, but Sol forbids him of going ahead. They fight, and asks him to go away because he thinks more about his career than in them. Then we see the two faces of the coin (Sol/Gonzalo) trying to sleep.
Meanwhile, at M News, Diego is at Nuñez’s office, saying that it’s better than they take the exclusive, since he can’t. In between, he gets a call from Sol before heading to the bathroom. Bad move that he left his thing, because she got access to the picture of both together, and his call log.
Everyone is cheerful…minus Tomas and Amanda. But that soon goes down the drain when watching the competition’s report. Gonzalo feels they’ve fallen low, and he can’t handle the pressure, let alone thinking being one year in Pells’ shoes.
Nuñez goes to a restaurant to meet with Franco, where she says she has information that he wouldn’t like to see published: Sol and Diego. He’s confident that she has none of that, but will wait and see.
Sol is going through a crisis. You know, the typical one that she wants to have a kid before it’s too late. Gonzalo would like nothing more than that, but since he’s posing as Martin, she says he and Tomas have other ways. Tomas is all hysterical, but his father tells him that Nuñez knows the truth. So what does he do? Goes to the couple, all he wants is to be heard by someone.
Stress that all would be on the light soon vanishes soon as Amanda (who believes she’s the solution to all their problems) says she took over an idea that was originally Gonzalo’s: vow renewal, based on what he stated at the party days earlier. Of course, he thanks her for saving their asses. Then he tells Sol and Gonzalo, who wants to go ahead with that.
The meeting’s done and he tells Daniela, who, in turn, tells everybody else that the Pells will re-marry. Except for Diego (who disagrees), and Tomas, the staff is happy and they already start thinking what to wear. But at least Tomas is put in charge of organizing the whole thing, and Diego is reluctant to be the best man. Poor Sol, she thinks all is spiraling out of control.
Both Sol and Daniela have found her wedding dress, and she starts crying because she thinks she’s too fat. Nuñez is watching this too, and asks what Franco is up to. Sol isn’t happy with the preparations, because she’s fed up of everything. Gonzalo believes he’s overreacting because she’s beautiful. But Tomas is planning this, as if he was the bride. Meanwhile, Sergio asks Nacho how to be successful with women.
Tomas goes to ask Amanda for the checkbook to the preparations as the couple rehearses for the wedding, that leads to them kidding on how it would be if they got married for real. Later, the dress doesn’t fit Sol again. An army of women are onto her, but she’s unhappy. Meanwhile, Tomas is helping Gonzalo dress up, then calls Charly at the church.
Daniela goes to where Alvaro is at and asks if she can change clothes there, but without watching as everyone gets ready for the wedding/telecast. When the couple enters, the guests get emotional. Nuñez is, of course, watching and criticizing (Juan wasn’t allowed in). Their attention focuses on the priest, that she’s certain she’s seen him somewhere.
The moment of the vow renewal becomes teary and they put the rings on each other. As a proof of love, Gonzalo gives Sol his coin. It’s sealed with a kiss as everybody claps. Nuñez is still trying to figure out about the priest. When they’re away from cameras, she thinks the coin thing was an act, but Gonzalo says it’s an honest act, and they end up talking about grandmas and hugging.
At M News, Juan gets to the task of finding the archive tape of the priest: He was at a casting…as a clown! LOL! The next day, Diego and Sol celebrate with champagne and saying she should take the coin to a pawn shop. Sol thinks Martin is changed, and she wants the coin back. Diego thinks it’s their wedding night and gets to action.
Another lunch setting indicates Franco is having lunch, and Nuñez goes to his encounter. They share wine, and she confronts him about the priest thing. With this photo as leverage, she demands that she wants the exclusive of the Pells’ honeymoon for her network in order she keeps her mouth shut.
After giving it a lot of thought, Franco informs Sol and Gonzalo that they will spend a weekend in his country house as the prelude of a honeymoon, just to please Marcela. Tomas and Diego fight about why this should take place. But anyways, Ricardo and Amanda give them final instruction the day they depart.
As soon as they set foot on the country house, cameras are all over them, capturing in tapes all sort of activities (massages, kisses, walks, etc). When night comes, and Gonzalo asks for room service, Sol brings the champagne that spills on the bed. On her absence, he calls Sergio to try helping him not fall in temptation. But he can’t help it, and the first chance he gets, Sol jumps off the bed, asking if he’s crazy.
You wanted news? Now you have them. Till next episode!
