Yesterday's (thursday) recap.
Abdolut ad to begin with.
Gonzalo, Sol and Franco are toasting because of the product have gone up, and also because Andrada wants them to advertise more products, when the couple thought they had work offers. All he does is remind them it’s all sustained on the money, and that pretty much credibility is worthless.
Marina (the woman Gonzalo was with on that night of liberty) bumps into Sergio at the bar and asks about Gonzalo’s whereabouts, since he never called her back. Having to make up a fast excuse, he tells her they are estranged. But Marina isn’t convinced of this and decides to follow Sergio (surprised that he has the car he has).
Sol is at her morning show, talking about cars and showing footage of a Peugeot car launch, and that they’ll have a tektronic dancer later, even doing her best to learn it. Sergio enters Gonzalo’s dressing room to tell him about Marina and the fact that he needs to call her. As he’s smoking, Amanda comes in to pick him up. Sergio believes she’s attracted to him, but it’s just that Franco wants to see him. As always, it’s to tell him that when Pells wakes up, he would want his money back, so he’ll have to recover whatever he donated to the orphanage.
Diego has an argument with Daniela, and when he bumps into Lily he tells her about the rumor that the makeup artist is unstable as Gonzalo tries on very expensive glasses, and he and Sergio fight about what would’ve happened to that money otherwise. At least Echague is happy he did something good, so now it’s a matter of creativity.
Outside, Marina bumps into Nacho and Diego and says she’s a reporter seeking an interview. Nacho says she goes to Lily, and Diego tries to be a ladies’ man, but as always is compared to Pells. Inside, Gonzalo tells Sol about an idea he needs her approval as Marina comes in and asks Alvaro to help her find Lily for the work thing. The director says he could help her instead, and she asks about Sergio. Marina is surprised that he works for Pells
What he proposed was about a biography about the Pells marriage seems to please Amanda and Franco, and that Sol agrees. That’s exactly what the people want: to know things about their idols. At least they acknowledge he’s a smart guy. On air, Daniela has an accident while prepping Sol, and runs off crying. Charly spills the rumor everybody knows to Sol. The makeup artist runs into Marina, who, in turn, finds Sergio in the dressing room. When Gonzalo comes in, he has to hide Marina and take the actor out to tell him But Marina peeped at the scene.
Sol comes to console Daniela, thinking she’s emotionally unstable and wants to help her out, although Daniela was indeed brutally honest…oh, and when Mrs. Pells tells her that the rumor, Daniela is more upset than before. Outside, Sergio tells him that Marina was around, and that he told her he was Pells’ personal assistant. And they tell Sol they’re playing hide and seek as Marina watches.
Daniela goes straight to Charly to demand who started it out as Ricardo tells Amanda that she’s super focused on Sergio, just because they mentioned Gonzalo. She goes to Franco to talk about her. Of course, he wants Marina gone because any traces of Gonzalo’s life could endanger it.
At night, Gonzalo tells Tomas about the biography, but he’s upset that, as I have said, he’s spending more time in other activities that don’t involve him. Hence, he feels affected because all he wants is his boyfriend. Even though it’s a completely different life, he believes Tomas has good feelings.
Next morning, we have Sol hosting her morning show and Daniela facing Lily about whether she spread the rumor or not as Gonzalo blames Sergio for Marina being around and suspecting. He is the one that proposes the question that whether he and Martin could be brothers. As Gonzalo is asking someone for a smoke, he spots Marina and does his best to stay under the radar. Sergio writes down a speech as Gonzalo calls Marina just to say he’s away for a while. Marina doesn’t buy a word from it, and lets Sergio know when they bump at the bar once again.
Franco has just landed a deal about the book publishing, and that night the writer, a woman named Alex Marini pays them a visit. She’s instantly attracted to Pells, and jealous of Sol, based on how she’s ignoring all her comments or making sarcastic remarks (example: going to bed). Oh, and they both expected a man. She’s there to work on the biography: text, words, interests and others.
Speaking of the biography, Tomas goes to ask his father about Alex as he chooses the cover. Once again, he feels ignored. Another one who thinks Alex is a man, as he talks to Charly about that over orange juice. Anyways, Alex is 24/7 with them, trying to enjoy any moment that doesn’t have Sol to have intimacy. On the way they bump into Tomas and Charly, who couldn’t be more relieved that Alex was a woman.
Daniela keeps insisting on who told her about the antidepressant thing to Lily, but she says she’s a bit obsessed with the subject. It ends up with a fight. On the dressing room, Sergio unfortunately calls Gonzalo by his name. Alex is curious as to who this Gonzalo person is, and they make up a lie before he’s kicked out and the talk continues (Alex records it all on audio, and even seems compromising). Thankfully, Sol came to the rescue…being her turn to be interviewed by Marini. And ANOTHER complication thrown into the mix: Diego Planes who would want nothing more than she goes to his house. Sooner or later, someone will slip it by and that is sensed in the worry of Mrs. Pells before they go on the air.
Franco is preparing a statement that should be released to the media as Charly comes in, wanting to talk to him about Tomas, and how affected he is by all the situation that’s going on. As soon as he’s done, Lily fires him just for not being able to fire him. Andrada calls his son to check on him.
Gonzalo, Sol and Alex arrive home and Daniela calls her friend. Sol says she’ll go to her dressed up, leaving Gonzalo and Alex alone to drink and talk about their interests. What she really wants is to go to Diego’s place, looks to me. And my assumption was correct. But…among his papers, she finds something fishy I couldn’t quite figure it out. So she confronts him about that, and he says the purchase of a hotel with his investments (the money Amanda gave him) was a surprise
Oh, Gonzalo…Flesh is weak, for as much as he wants to say he’s faithful. That is the topic of conversation between him and Sergio (who thinks his friend was a fool for letting such a chance pass). Charly has to go straight to Andrada himself to claim for his job and explain his situation. Since Franco is the man in the power, he asks Amanda to solve that for him.
Sol lets it all vent out to Diego on how much she hates Alex and that she’s fed up with her around. Instead, she’d much rather make up lies so she could be with Planes every night this lasts. Meanwhile, Amanda and Franco pay Alex a visit on the set. They want the book out as soon as possible, and Wedell as Tommy’s nanny.
That night, a brunette Sol pays Diego a visit, and he wants that they go out to a restaurant as Alex and Gonzalo share a glass of wine. Like if she wouldn’t want to take advantage of that intimacy. Diego receives an unexpected visit from Nacho as they head dinner as Sol hides upstairs. By a remark he did about some twins, Sol is pissed off and leaves…Too bad about the surprise she found when coming back home: Gonzalo and Alex in bed together!! :O
You wanted news? Now you have them. Till next episode!
