Los Exitosos Pells / Episode 15

Today's (sunday) recap. I'll also leave tomorrow's recap done because I have radio reporting all day long, and zero time.

We pick it up from where it left off: The hurricane aftermath portrayed by Mega News as Sol talks to Diego, pleading him to return as he’s still on a shelter. But even in the face of adversity, he just CAN’T leave the rivalry between him and Pells aside, because he thinks that it’s a move from Franco so that Martin is sent in his place.

Daniela and Lily (bottle of champagne in hand) are still bitter, but there is nothing alcohol cannot fix. They kiss and make up, both thinking Nacho is a scumbag (both even ignored him) as Alvaro is still in a festive mood…with another bottle next to the switch, criticizing Diego’s coverage. Phones ring, people run from one side to the other, Sergio fights with Charly, Sol loses contact with Diego (that’s just to make the long story short), but eventually they inform that the hurricane has lost force. Everybody is happy as hell, and once the broadcast ends, Gonzalo asks Sol whether this experience has helped her realize that some things in her life could change. For him, it does feel that way. Sadly for her, it’s not that easy…Diego comes in, unfortunately to their interruption.

Easy saw 300 ad.

Back with Franco and Nuñez…it’s up to the imagination to go figure what has happened there. Both look messed up, and around them there’s a bottle of whiskey. He gets a call from someone (while trying to shut Marcela up), and then she composes herself as if nothing had happened just as Amanda comes in and demands to know what Nuñez was doing there. Whatever, she just leaves mad.

Lily is talking on the phone with her mother when Nacho comes in. She keeps him away and complains her head hurts (too much champagne?) and he says that the hurricane thing was a revelation and wants a second chance. But all she tells him is that she’s a free woman and walks off.

The Pells get home and Sol says she doesn’t want to look at the garden because the plants are destroyed. He tries to get her relaxed and asks if she wants to eat something. But, yeah…you guessed correctly. Mr. Planes pays a visit home, and he and Sol head off somewhere else with Gonzalo watching. Thankfully for all parts, the actor has to leave shortly, so Diego and Sol talk and share

At Mega News, since things didn’t work out with Lily, Nacho tries to get with Daniela and work the same speech with her. But it doesn’t work either, and the two women leave together in front of his nose.

Gonzalo arrives at Tomas’ place, who is furious with him for not calling him and not paying attention to him (plate breaking included). Gonzalo tries to apologize, but that doesn’t work because he says he’s not Martin, but an impostor. To get away, he starts saying the trip changed him. So they sit down and talk about the problems and doubts he’s been having lately. He doesn’t leave him alone, not even in bed. Tomas even dreams of the day Martin confesses that he’s gay in public, with everyone’s shock faces…except his.

Franco notices Amanda is jealous of Nuñez, and as a reward he says she’s leaving him in charge for a while. Meanwhile, we learn a little bit about Alvaro’s history while talking: That he has no life beyond the network. Also, Sol and Diego talk about how it’s time the couple should let him confess his sexual identity to give a free way to their relationship before they head for a few hours of sleep. Diego has his own version of the dream. Ugh! Worse than the first!

Daniela and Lily are sharing more quality time when Nacho comes in. Of course, they use all the resources at hand to distract themselves and throw in some nasty comments as well.

Easy defec ad.

Gonzalo leaves Tomas’ place to head to their home with Sol. Judging by the bottle of wine, he suspected Planes was at home during his absence. It even gets to the awkward questions territory. But anyways, that doesn’t last long because she thinks that he’s talking nonsense stuff.

Villa Roel juice ad.

Sergio wakes up in a disaster and bumps into Amanda, and he tries to seduce her as always…for a second she played the game, then it went to hell. After that, he goes to Nacho for advice with the opposite sex and where to take her for dinner (Amanda). With these at hand, it doesn’t work. Franco calls her to work. In another part, Daniela is doing Lily’s makeup when Sol arrives. They decide to tell her their plan to make Nacho look like a loser, but somehow Sol isn’t interested (that, or she thinks the idea is useless).

Tomas finds his dad at the dressing room and insists he’s suffering and wants him to solve it as Sol and Diego talk about Nuñez and the best way to tell Franco. His phone rings, and yes…it was Marcela. Juan wants to know how she did with Franco, but she’s pissed off.

Back at Mega News, Franco wants to know what Amanda was doing with Sergio before he tells her Gonzalo wants to destroy Pells’ image and be with Tomas…keeping half of the money as well. Amanda knows the actor is smarter than what he seems, so they go to face him…as Sol overhears all this while leaving her dressing room.

You wanted news? Now you have them. Till next episode!
