Wednesday's recap. As soon as I'm up to date, I'll start White Collar Season 2 & Covert Affairs Season 1. Oh, and change of photo...as you may have noticed.
Picking up from where we left off, Sol is mad at Gonzalo, but she doesn’t want him to touch her. Instead, they go to bed.
Lily is on the dark and Alvaro buys her dinner since she’s in the night guard by herself, as Tomas hears a strange noise at home. He gets scared and calls Charly, asking him to go the house. He, in turn, brings him sushi, wine and a movie. Amanda is at the office when Franco comes in to talk about the honeymoon. He’s thinking the face Nuñez has, and looks to me these two have a plan up their sleeves.
Gonzalo can’t sleep imagining all the good things they spent as Tomas is too sad to sit through a movie. The next morning, Charly brings Tomas breakfast, and he’s surprised that he’s been taken care of, for a change.
At the network, Lily thinks about the things Nacho has told her. But the idiot is with Daniela when Lily calls him. He has no choice but to head to the network, surprising her from behind and making up lies.
The Pells have finished their weekend at the estate, and Juan collects all the material. Nuñez gets the report call she’s been waiting for a while, and wants nothing more than to get those tapes in her hands. As he waves goodbye to the couple, the bags are switched. Meanwhile, Nacho goes to meet Daniela and he has no idea Lily is watching from the street.
Juan arrives to M news with the bag and Nuñez checks its contents…just to inform them the tapes are blank.

Franco and Amanda are about to head to eat Thai when Nuñez comes in. Franco asks that Amanda leaves them alone. As soon as she sets foot on his office, she says that’s enough and that she’ll speak since their deal wasn’t fulfilled. She’s so angry she breaks stuff as he’s calmed and asking when is she going to grow up.
Sol is on her morning show, and I find it funny that she talks about one thing on air, and images of her getting ready show otherwise. Off air, she’s hard to please, and that mixes with Gonzalo and Sergio talking about how difficult it is for him to play Pells in the intimacy with Sol (he’s a man first and foremost) and having breakfast. Sergio IS crazy, and gives bad advice. His role-play says it all.
Daniela comes to Sol after the show, and she notices she’s anxious because she pretty much snatched that apple. The second she says she has a delay, the make-up artist figures out she’s pregnant. Sol tells her to shut up because she wants no one to know until she’s certain, and the child might be (and mostly is) Diego’s. Solution? A pregnancy test, and the wait is killing them. And the result is…negative. Too bad the instructive says the procedure should be repeated to be 100% certain…in the form of a blood test. But it’s not that simple, because if she goes everyone will be onto her. Gonzalo comes in, and Sol has the idea that they go working out at the gym together. Sadly, that goes contrary to Gomzalo’s nature (Pells was an athlete too), and he IS suffering like I would!
Nacho comes up behind Lily and starts flirting with her, but she’s moody. He’s like ‘what’s gotten into you?’ and she says he saw him with Daniela. He admits to that point…but makes up another story that Daniela has depression and is on pills. Timing is awful, and as always, Charly overheard it and HAD to spread the gossip, and even a call emphasizes the point.
On air, Sol has serious focus issues and Gonzalo stands up for her. On her dressing room, she’s eating, anxious. She wants him to stay at home for a while, and tells Gonzalo that she might be pregnant of Diego, almost on the verge of tears for her concern. And if he had to choose between her and Tomas (who had cooked for him, and thinks he’s been replaced), he chose her to hear her ranting about pregnancy and motherhood over him. Gonzalo gives her advices, among them to call Diego. Planes has some sort of duality: He blames Sol for not using protection, and wants that the kid doesn’t have the Pells last name. But the couple says a child is priceless, and that the scam is up to there. The hard thing is to communicate the choice to Franco.
Charly ended up going to Tomas’ place to share the dinner with him, and even planning to go to take a ride on a car…and choking because of the super spicy food.
At Mega News, Sol still has craving for icecream and wants Gonzalo to be with her (interruption from Sergio on set included. Loving how Charly still thinks Sergio is gay). Of course, Tomas goes to complain to his daddy because he’s been left aside as Alvaro was asking Franco about the purchase of new equipment. Then Andrada comes into his office, where Amanda is imagining she’s answering an interview. They talk about the possibility that Gonzalo COULD fall in love with Sol. He’ll take care of that, and goes to find out through Daniela. She slips out the delay, and Franco and Amanda think that a kid would be the best thing that could happen to them…sponsors-wise. So they toast with champagne.
That night, Sol and Diego are at home. She eats, and he’s looking for baby names and making a list. The fact that he’s like…looking for sponsors who cover the needs upsets her as Gonzalo needs to be alone at Tomas’ place (he even checks his phone and finds Sergio’s name). And in the morning, before they leave they receive a visit from Franco (who brings flowers and a huge teddy bear) to congratulate them for the baby. But Sol gathers up the courage to refuse…Too bad Franco reminds her she’s in no position to complain or demand.
Amanda gives Diego a check for a huge amount of money in exchange for his silence for the next 10 years about the paternity of this child. After those, he could claim paternity and the DNA test. He even asks her what would she do in his shoes, but she’s like all smiling because she knows that’s not the point.
When Sol and Gonzalo are in their dressing room, Diego is waiting for them. He says he’s been giving it a lot of thought and wants to go ahead with the lie and they say the baby is theirs. Gonzalo strongly disagrees to the choice, but Planes just says that she gives it a thought. Franco has met with people to toast about that kid…until Sol says there’s no child. It was a false alarm, much to Andrada’s dismay.
