September 8th recap.
Here we start with Tomas eating up late because he’s depressed after seeing Martin dancing on TV. His ex, Gonzalo, goes to console him, but that’s not working. Speaking of party, the four of them (Martin, Sol, Diego and Daniela) arrive back at the Pells residence, all laughing. Now…what Diego REALLY wants is that the other two leave so that he and Sol are alone. Well, considering all of them are wasted…Sol calls Diego and Daniela a cab as Gonzalo/Martin has returned to Tomas’ place, trying to be as silent as possible. But Tomas is unhappy and acting like a drama queen with the entire scene. Let’s just hope that the drink doesn’t slip another secret.
At Mega News, Nacho scares Alvaro and the fat guy wants nothing more than to drink coffee. For once, Nacho doesn’t want to talk about women. Okay, that’s weird. And even weirder that Alvaro wants to know all that. Well, all that happens the morning after. Speaking of that, the four of them must have the GRAND hangover! Excuse me, but the Gonzalo (ex) is making noise on purpose to catch his attention, just because he came back for him?
Nuñez has just arrived to her office and is already looking for Juan (among other things), who sleeps at his place. Poor thing, he loves his boss but she always shouts at him…even though it’s Sunday. He’s so upset at that, but again, who wouldn’t?
Franco pays Nacho and Alvaro a visit, since they’re one of the few also working on a Sunday. What the director had to say was the alleged affair between Sol and Andrada. Meanwhile, Gonzalo is still flirting with the impostor. Smells like the real Pells had an affair with this guy, and was about to say something when Tomas arrived. Gonzalo (actor) sees the ex slip something into Tomas’ glass and tries to switch them at any cost.
Anyone thinks Franco should lay off the whiskey in his office, feeling like the king of the world. He’s so bored he decides to call Marcela. Yes, they’re both workaholics and having some sort of phone seduction act. Back at Tomas’ house, looks like this wasn’t the first time they did that. And Sol looks much brighter too and willing to try a bit of life, as Daniela points out.
Gonzalo (ex) is a big SOB that finally got what he deserved after throwing Echague under the bus with the sleeping thing: He got kicked out! But don’t think the story ends there, no sir. He’s pissed and seeks the truth. Meanwhile, Nuñez starts to boss Juan around with some clothes. At Mega News, Diego arrives to work as well. The tension with Nacho is evident because of what he saw at the club the other night, and other accumulated suspicions that lead to confrontation and threats, since Planes says he has nothing to hide.
When I said the Tomas storyline wasn’t over, I wasn’t kidding. He has just kicked the actor out as well, with all the hurt in his soul. At the Pells residence, Sol is happy gardening when Gonzalo arrives with luggage, seeking asylum. Of course, she won’t grant him that because the contract doesn’t specify that she’s obliged to do that, and would much rather have a bunch of paparazzis at her door. So he has no choice but to hop in the van and find another temporary residence.
Once out of the condo, he calls Amanda to seek a solution, but I never thought she’d agree to take him into her home. She says that the last resort is the theatre school, so the network is the best option. He arrives to a lonely Mega News to sleep in the dressing room as Sol is at home, thinking about that discussion and how she wasn’t like that before. Tomas is also thinking on what he did while packing his bag and kicking him out.
Amanda pays Gonzalo a visit, who is drinking and thinking about his brother. And Amanda didn’t offer a solution, but at least has a beer too. Tonight he’ll have to spend the night there, and is doomed to be trapped there. Wait, did she just say that infidelity was genetic? Meanwhile, Franco and Marcela are enjoying a drink in his office. This flirting and boleros are certainly because of an intention she has. Back with Amanda, she calls her son first and then Franco to tell him about the Tomas thing…
ANDRADA HAS JUST BEEN BUSTED! Haha, just as he was with Nuñez doing the nookie. How will he get her out of that one if Amanda is at the hall? Meanwhile, Gonzalo gets a call from Marina. She’s so stubborn that she decides to go there. Okay, so while Amanda is at the props department looking for blankets, Franco gets Marcela out of sight discreetly…or so I thought. Is she allergic to brooms? WTF? Anyways, if that wasn’t enough complication, Amanda bumps into Nacho and asks who’s staying over AND with Franco. As I said, BUSTED!
Back at the Pells house, Daniela and Sol are trying on some jewelry, but Sol feels guilty on how she behaved when Gonzalo was around. Daniela says she did the right thing, but Sol seems worried as to where could he be staying now. But they end up getting back to the jewels.
Charly has come to Tomas’ aide, and he notices a bunch of tore papers and pictures on the floor, crying and saying he needs nothing more than Martin’s love, and thankfully Charly has the right advice, and says that he’s always there because he wants to see Tomas happy. At the dressing room, Marina is again flirting with Gonzalo and snoops his phone when Tomas calls, then Sol. But Marina has to get in the way.
Nuñez arrives to her office as Juan is still investigating, and offers him a drink. The reason is a favor: To keep Amanda away from Franco…in the shape of impersonating a secret admirer for Amanda. Sol feels like an idiot that falls for the first sweet word she hears. She is heading to the network to talk to him firmly.
Poor Juan has to refer to cheesy material to write the first note as the admirer for Amanda, but at least seems inspired now and manages to send it. Tomas is painting and calls his father to talk about Martin. Franco is right: What his son is doing is pure masochism, but at least tells him he’s sleeping at the network and feels pity for him.
Beer and passion (clothes off included) for Gonzalo and Marina equals more drama for me. If I ever said I felt sorry for Amanda’s son, I repeat it. What son sends his homework over email to mom? Anyway, she’s checking that when she gets a note from a mysterious ‘Jhon Love’ (the misspelling ain’t my fault). And to top it off, as Gonzalo and Amanda are getting down and dirty, both Tomas and Sol are coming from either side to make things up. OMG! DRAMA!
You wanted news? Now you have them. Till next episode!
