Los Exitosos Pells / Episode 24

September 7th recap.

We start from where we left off: Gonzalo has come into Sol’s dressing room, asking about that truth the girls were talking about. He asks for privacy, but Sol wants Daniela to stay and immediately takes the defensive side in this discussion. If only she knew that all those pretty words he says are his true feelings. But for now it’s show time, and they have to get ready.
Meanwhile, at N News, Nuñez is angered at her staff because she believes she has to do everything on her own and gives them 24 hours to find a bomb story to destroy Mega News. Back at the show, ‘Martin’ has given Sol flowers and after a few commercial mentions, proposes they share a romantic dinner. Cameras go off, and the discussion continues. But at least it’s the weekend, and everybody’s sharing their plans.
They get home and he would like nothing more than to pamper her and make her feel better, but she just says that what makes her feel so bad is him. So he’s taken to Tomas’ house, where he and his ex are cooking sushi. When they are left alone, Gonzalo (ex) makes a move on Gonzalo (actor), an awkward moment for the second. But he continues as the three enjoy dinner and ‘Martin’ asks why Charly wasn’t invited. So Tomas calls him and says that tomorrow they’ll go play volleyball.
Sol has stayed home reading a book, but memories seem to take over her. Memories of everything that has happened, both good and bad. The day after, they are getting ready for that activity, and since Echague is stuck in yet another predicament, he calls Amanda to request a solution. She is mad because he interrupted her spa day. Sol receives a visit from Daniela, and she seems to be sore.
Outside in what looks as a golf court, Nuñez is taking a stroll and spots Pells and company playing volley (or making his best attempt), and unfortunately he can’t take Amanda’s calls. At a moment, he gets a ball to the head. Daniela has taken Sol to her room and gives her a cup of tea, aromatherapy and reiki. The purpose is to think positive, but all these efforts don’t seem to work…well, that until Sol falls asleep and Daniela has a chance to go out and call Diego at his house to say Sol needs him, but she can’t tell him what’s up. Somehow, he gets there to keep her company in her absence.
Ah, Nuñez has a hunch judging by Tomas’ behavior towards Martin and Amanda’s becoming neurotic by the fact he’s not answering. And Gonzalo SUCKS at sports! If that wasn’t enough, Diego is an enormous SOB by trying to establish himself at Sol’s house because he supposedly deserves it. Nuñez plays golf as Amanda gets to that same place. They’ll take him to a doctor, but Tomas has to stay in order to not raise suspicions.
Sol wakes up screaming to find Diego by her side and the bed full of rose petals. He says he’ll never leave her alone, but she still feels awful. Marcela returns to her office and tells Juan what she saw while playing. She wants to know who are these people that were with him, and this leads to the obvious suspicions about his sexuality. But I feel sorry for Juan: He was so illusioned with playing soccer.
Diego got all cheesy and stuff with Sol, and even overreacted with the stolen flowers thing, but no matter what, it won’t change the way she’s feeling, as Amanda returns Gonzalo to Tomas’ house. She informs he’s injured and needs to rest. If I may say, the other thing that makes me sick is how Tomas’ ex is flirting with the false Pells.
Amanda has returned to the field to ask questions about Pells and Nuñez, so she calls Franco to alert him about what happened earlier. He’s confident, she’s worried. Tomas is surprised to see Diego there, because he has to talk to Martin in private. That seems to set off Tomas’ jealousy and jokes about Planes being gay. Nuñez wants to hear about Juan’s findings that all of them are gay, but it’s Pells that she’s interested in. Dude, her drawing skills SUCK BIG TIME! But at least her suspicions have some fundament.
The thing to discuss is Sol’s current state of mind, and that she should get part of her life back to make her feel better, so they’ll put their differences aside for a while to give her a night of privacy. And if it’s for her, he’ll do anything. Meanwhile, Amanda and Franco have a conversation about what they discussed earlier.
Diego has called Daniela (who is in the middle of a smooch fest with Nacho) because he needs the following favor: He needs her to pose as his date so the four of them go to dinner, allowing Sol to have a moment of leisure. So she makes up an excuse, but Nacho isn’t worried at all. He knows he’s got another woman, but is suspicious as to why Diego called her, hence he’s doing all sorts of tricks just to get it out of her. So what does he do? Follows her.
Planes has Sol try a bloody mary as Daniela arrives. Sol is happy that she gets to go out as it has been too long. In his office, Franco calls Nuñez with the excuse that he’s feeling nostalgic about their old times. The place they have chosen to go to was a club and they all dance as some take pictures. Oh, wow! Mike’s got some wicked moves! Anyways, Tomas is watching all that on TV and isn’t happy. The boys are only on the dancefloor, and the girls are happy they had this chance while on the bathroom. There, they meet with a fan before going back. Too bad Nacho is there as well and sees Daniela with Diego dancing, and later Planes with Sol. Make your conclusions.
