September 6th recap.
So…after a 3 minute recap of everything we’ve seen so far, we kick things up with Sol hosting her morning show and talking about myths while Daniela and Lily chat. Sol is happy that the whole thing of the crisis is solved as Amanda shows Marina where she’ll be working, and that she’ll be doing it alongside Tomas, who receives a call from Wedell. He says he’s too busy to go meet his new assistant. Marina says all of this is fun as Amanda is giving her the tour, but the other woman doesn’t seem pleased. Lily comes in the way to ask about Tomas in the place.
Another show has finished, and Sol is part of the introductions tour, and judging by her face, she seems awkward with the fact that Marina will be working there and is praising her, Back at Tomas’ place, he receives a visit from an ex named Gonzalo, and the actor believes they’re calling him by his real name, This guy will be staying with them, and Echague is having a hard time not mixing stuff up, so instead he goes to get ready for business as Tomas talks to his ex about his relationship with ‘Martin’
Franco goes to talk to Sol because a magazine wants to make a story on her and the trio, but she doesn’t want to be humiliated about that anymore, but Andrada knows he owns her, fake smiles included. And if that wasn’t enough, Diego was overhearing that conversation. In another part, Sergio is babbling about women when Gonzalo whisks him by the arm, to talk about what’s going on at Tomas’ place with this Gonzalo (the ex, not the actor) thing, and that bringing them back together as a way to solve a big part of his problems.
Diego is having a coffee and talking to Jessie. He needs her help because he is protecting Alvaro’s butt. The thing is that she has to be his informant every time she takes something to Franco. At Sol’s dressing room, she is talking to Daniela, who advises that she be honest and show herself, but no good words can change her opinion. The makeup artist is insisting that she be honest and that will be forgotten soon, but, as I said, it’s to no avail.
Tomas decided to bring his ex to the tour and they meet Charly. But he isn’t the only one watching this and speculating as Martin comes into the set (Lily and Alvaro). Meanwhile, Sol is imagining how the interview could go and how foolish and cheated reporters would make her feel, let alone the covers. She believes life has changed and has a bad feeling about all that, because that fantasy included horns, lol!
Sticking to the plan, when Jessie brings Alvaro and Ricardo coffee, she overhears them talking about releasing the leash on Sol. And, of course, she transmits what she witnessed to Diego. This seems to upset him, judging by his storming off and ignoring Nacho. He has headed to Sol’s dressing room to talk to her, and manages to make his way in regardless of her words. As outrageous as it sounds, he believes Sol is Franco’s mistress and that she’s as golddigger as Martin because of the ‘I own you’ speech and all that. Anyways, this leads to a fight between the two as, meanwhile, Nacho and Alvaro gossip about Charly’s situation as he comes in with a tower of tapes.
Shining White ad.
Speaking of Charly’s gossip, it’s not only between the boys. Daniela and Lily are on that too…up until Marina gets in the table and hears Gonzalo is Tomas’ partner…believing it’s the actor. As I have mentioned, Marina doesn’t rise much sympathy there just by being considered ‘the other’.
At the switch, Jessie tells her father what she heard and that she should stop spying for Planes. Her defense is that she’s doing it for him, and that it’s surprising that Sol is involved in this. Lily is neurotic at the halls and bumps into Sergio to ask him to take something to Sol’s dressing room. He hears her sobbing from outside and comes in, scaring her. And no one can make up one coherent sentence here!
Gonzalo (ex), Gonzalo (actor) and Tomas go to chat at the cafeteria as Marina watches on. And the gossip on Charly does his job, too bad that Nacho and Lily are doing that while he watches, so they decide to move to another place. He tries to make a move on the producer, but fails. Gonzalo is rehearsing his lines as Marina comes in, straight on to kiss him. But he asks her to be more discreet because of the situation both are stuck in now. He wants to protect her at any price, but she’s in a supergirl stand.
Amanda is upset again that Ricardo’s at her office. In the meantime, the two buddies (Gonzalo and Sergio) are talking about Marina in his dressing room over a beer. He’s got a bad feeling about all that. He ends up calling somebody to arrange a meeting.
Poor Charly, I ended up feeling sorry for him. Sergio calls him, and that gives him the chance to vent out everything that’s happening to him, thinking he’s doomed, but says Sol is much worse than him. The person that Gonzalo called was Amanda. He wants her brother’s number to check on his brother, but not gonna happen, so Sergio acts as shrink because the actor believes he’s going insane. But his face lights up when he realizes he might have hope with Sol. If only Sergio didn’t try to bring him down to earth…
Marina goes to introduce herself to Tomas, and says he admires what he does since she’ll be his assistant. He just says she’s got a good future ahead of her. Across the street, Nuñez is upset that yet again, Franco has beat her to the punch. So they need a new strategy.
Daniela is trying to console Sol, but she’s right: If she doesn’t put her part, this isn’t going to work. The makeup artist says she’s got a last card: To tell the truth. She says she can’t do that, but as they are talking about that, Gonzalo comes in to ask about what truth the girls were talking about.
You wanted news? Now you have them. Till next episode!
