September 4th (saturday's) recap. And change of picture!
We start from where we left off: Marina shocked by Gonzalo’s confession. She’s like ‘don’t touch me’ because she believes he has lied to so many years and that he might have a personality disorder. Away from him, he starts to explain that Pells is sick, and until he gets better he’s acting as him, and that since he had a financial problem he signed the contract. For her, it’s complicated, but somehow she’ll keep his secret safe.
Meanwhile, at Mega News, Diego is talking to Alvaro at the cafeteria about him being back and taking care of his health. But he doesn’t know whether the treason or the diet is worse. Even when he tries to eat a pastry, his daughter catches him on the act. Tomas asks Charly if he has seen Martin (who hasn’t arrived yet), and Daniela goes to Sol with her findings about the theatre school. So Sol calls and she’s told the professor is away at a festival. Before she’s called away by Franco, she points out the voice was quite familiar.
Tomas arrives to the loft just to be informed Martin is back at the station. Franco has called both the couple to work out a strategy to make up: Both need to give out statements, but Gonzalo knows exactly what to say. Both end up walking off. So, at show time, he asks for an apology to Sol as everybody watches almost in tears. But Franco is more focused on the rating, Nuñez rants about why she wants him as rating goes down and Sol walks off the set. Gonzalo has to justify it to the viewers, and to me, sounds like he’s talking with honesty.
Back with Marcela, she wants to find the woman Pells was with and puts Juan to the case. Sol is destroyed in her dressing room as she wants someone to take care of her, and Gonzalo seems bummed as well. Nacho comments to Diego that Martin is a genius, the same as Lily and Charly and Alvaro (that it might have something to do with the lights).
Tomas goes to Gonzalo, but as always he needs to be alone. Daniela and Lily are calling it a day and end up talking that they are both dating someone (without knowing it’s Nacho) and Gonzalo calls Amanda to talk to her. Franco tells her to be careful because they created a quite dangerous monster. The thing Gonzalo wanted to talk about with her was about his brother and his well-being. She explains that her brother is taking care of that, and he says that it stays all in the family and he demands to talk to Dr. Wedell to go figure. She just says she’ll take care of it and Gonzalo gives her 24 hours.
Sol and Daniela are at her house, and she trips with a chair and the couch. Daniela comments that lately she’s been having bad luck, and all she wants to disappear because she feels trapped. But it’s not quite easy because there’s something she doesn’t want to say. Next, Gonzalo is at Tomas’ place and neither him, nor Sol, Tomas and Diego can’t sleep. A lot of things are going through their heads.
The next morning, he’s back at the Pells residence for another day at work. But she won’t tell him a word, not even ‘good morning’. But as soon as they step out, they find a band of mariachis singing outside. Sol looks quite happy, but wants to assassinate him deep inside. They get in the car and drive off as the camera films them.
Franco was behind that mariachi stunt and Amanda goes to talk to her brother for ‘family affairs’ she won’t tell. At the set, Alvaro is fixing some stuff as his daughter has brought him tea and his pills because she wants what’s best for him. As she leaves, Diego sees him. Sol’s streak of bad luck continues as soon as she steps out of the elevator. Gonzalo tries to console her, but she says she’ll be fine as long as he’s away. Lily comes in and takes him away because he has to interview an architect.
Juan is at a car in his best detective act, waiting for something to happen. He calls Marcela Nuñez, and as she’s whining about him having to follow orders he spots someone entering the house. It looks like a boy, but it’s actually Marina who has come to see Sergio to ask about Gonzalo. He dials the number of his friend, who says he’s not a free man, and that if he could make choice he’ll see her because he misses her too.
Lavamax ad.
Tomas storms into his father’s office and demands to know the truth because he’s fed up as Amanda says she’s organized a meeting with some experts behind Franco’s back so they analyze Martin’s tests. The two doctors arrive as Diego watches. So what does he do? He goes to comment it with Nacho, Charly and Lily and theories start flying out. And Charly comments Tomas about the doctor’s thing, so he goes again to Franco to pull a drama queen act.
As soon as Marina stepped out of the theatre school, Juan faces her and says he won’t hurt her but that he has a deal to offer. He takes her to Nuñez’s office and she says she’ll give her a role that could make her a star in exchange for the truth about her relationship with Pells. But she refuses because she’s only truthful to herself and isn’t being pressed by Franco (as Nuñez believes) and walks off as Juan comes in. All he gets is a slap from the boss.
The doctors are explaining to Gonzalo about how unpredictable Martin’s state, but that he’s in good hands under Dr. Wedell’s care. Franco’s comments to his son were a little too hurtful, so now it’s time for apologies. Sergio comes in to the dressing room and asks Gonzalo whether he told Marina everything.
Tomas and Charly talk about how his father loves him and that all he does is for his well-being. And as always he says he’s going to do whatever it takes to get Martin back.
Remember that Alvaro was fixing something? Well… as Pells is interviewing the architect he pushes a button and electric shocks get to him. He seems to be enjoying it fully, but Diego comes in and says he’s playing with fire that could lead him to lose his job.
Sol is getting her make-up done by Daniela and has reached a boiling point. So now she storms into Franco’s office saying that this is the end, that she quits. All he asks is whether she has lost it.
