September 2nd (thursday's) recap. Pardon the delay. Uni, you know...
We start off with Amanda coming out to talk to Sergio…negotiate, better said. And she does it from where she knows it’ll hurt him the most: his car. If he wants to keep it, he’ll have to tell her where Gonzalo is hiding at. And it figures what he chose because next thing we know Amanda is at the theatre school. But Gonzalo won’t give in his posture and wants that he be put to jail, knowing that if he does, others will fall down with him. She is impressed that he’s acting so foolish because of love, and that she can’t do anything without taking orders.
On the other hand, an advice to Franco: Even though he’s stressed with what the media is saying, it’s not wise to be drinking whiskey after almost dying of a heart attack. Meanwhile, Sol is freaking out, and Planes is the source of all her ranting. She doesn’t regret the slap…the only thing she does is doing it on public. The press is all over her, but all she wants is to disappear. Thankfully, he is there to contain her.
Nuñez seems satisfied that the rating is going up, and is willing to make her final move as Amanda finds Franco the same way she did previously: Drunk and depressed. She found Gonzalo, but he’s not going to come back…unless she is given the 10% of the Mega News shares in exchange. Andrada says she has lost her mind, but Amanda is right: She knows too much, but his offer of 5% is still too low for all the sacrifices she has done. Both agree on the 8%.
Over the table, Nacho, Lily, Daniela and Charly comment the gossip about the slap and its causes. Too bad Ricardo interrupted them. Nuñez follows Amanda to the theatre school to meet with Gonzalo. He says he won’t take any kind of money offer and doesn’t change his posture. But Amanda has something better: Tell him that Martin Pells is his brother. He doesn’t believe that, but she says she asked her brother to run the DNA test and that Franco has no idea. And also the coin thing comes on the play. There’s only two of those, and are on her hands. That is complemented with the expert’s speech. But Gonzalo KNOWS she’s up to something weird.
Meanwhile, Diego is coordinating Sol’s escape when Franco comes in. He wants her to step it up and face the media. But Planes hears it all from outside that his girlfriend is stressed, but since Franco can convince anyone of doing things his way…that doesn’t need an explanation.
English a full ad. Pineapple? Cheeseburger? LOL!
Gonzalo comments that to Sergio and still thinks Amanda is too perverse to say that both are brothers. As he pours down a drink, Sergio actually brings up the question that what if what she said was all true. The answer relies on his grandmother, so he dresses up and leaves…unknown that Nuñez is following him. Speaking of Marcela, she gets a call from Diego to see what he can get if he wants more exclusives. She has followed Gonzalo to the home his grandma is at. At first the woman doesn’t answer to anything he asks or does. Outside, Nuñez still watches him smoke with curiosity. So she calls Juan to ask him that he figures out more about Pells’ background.
In the meantime, Sol puts on her best face to talk to the press outside Mega News as Tomas is angry and sad, smashing a photo of Martin. When he comes back, he bumps into Marina, who is surprised to see him back and so changed. Sooner rather than later, they start kissing…all caught on phone thanks to Nuñez. And the action continues inside…
Power juice K ad.
Amanda is once again imagining she’s being interviewed when Andrada comes in, demanding to know that what’s the status with Gonzalo. She replies that she won’t do anything until she sees a contract that says she has the 8%. So for that he calls Ricardo. Sol isn’t expecting visits when the doorbell rings, let alone Tomas. It’s quite surprising that he’s there since both are sworn enemies. But they talk about Martin’s current state, and that he’s in a crisis state. What Tomas didn’t know is that the crisis also reached doubts about his sexuality, causing him to faint.
Sergio tells Gonzalo to come watch what’s on TV: Him caught with Marina. And so are Franco and Amanda watching. Once Tomas comes to, he gets a call from Charly, and both him and Sol can’t believe what they’re watching. And he faints again! Meanwhile, Sergio leaves Gonzalo and Marina alone to talk. He tells her to leave now and lay low for her safety.
Franco goes to talk to Diego to see if he knows anything about this trick Nuñez pulled as Sol offers Tomas if he would stay. He says he needs some time to think things through, and she believes he’s a good guy and has a lot to give to someone that isn’t Martin. As I said, it’s quite surprising to see them in friendly terms. With him gone, she can suffer in silence.
Nuñez tells Juan he wants to put up a permanent guard at the theatre school to simply finish destroying both Franco and Martin. The next day, Sol arrives, gives a happy face to the world but then cries in her dressing room. Daniela comes to console her, as the friend she is. But Sol just wants to kill him. Tomas wants to be strong and blames his father for everything. His fury is about to begin.
Amanda arrives to the school and asks Gonzalo if he has any idea that his little stunt caused a press circus. He says his grandma didn’t say a thing, and they make a run for Amanda’s car through a back door. His destination is the home where his grandma was at, to try talking to her again. Outside, Amanda shows her the coins. She recognizes them and tells Gonzalo that because of that he has found his brother. Fate has brought them together again.
You wanted news? Now you have them. Till next episode!
