September 3rd (friday's) recap.
We start from where we left off: Gonzalo’s grandmother saying that, through the coins, fate brought the two brothers together again, and it includes several flashbacks. Teresa had gone to see a witch that told her that, staying together, the twins her daughter was expecting wouldn’t have much odds. So the coins were the key, and she planned everything telling her one of the children had died. Paying a nurse, she took one of the kids to the orphanage and the rest is history. I think that’s all we need in finding out everything Amanda was saying earlier was true.
At Mega News, Nacho is almost sure he knows Marina from somewhere he can’t quite recall. The fact that Charly and Lily are pushing him doesn’t help. Meanwhile, Ricardo is talking to Franco about how bad this situation is, and that if he wants to find who’s responsible, he has to go straight to Nuñez before things spiral out of control.
Sol is talking to Alvaro, who is still recovering at the hospital and who still wants to kill Martin for the damage he has caused. Sol is also on her side. Then she says he’s missing and that she’s sorry that she can’t go there and visit him. After she hangs up, Diego will go visit him on her behalf. Is Nuñez praying to rating when Franco comes in? He goes to talk to her about what she’s doing, but all she does is end up singing.
Gonzalo and Sergio talk about what happened with his grandma, and now he seems to believe in what Amanda said. Martin might have been a millionaire, but he had no family. So, technically he owes him one. At the network,, there’s a moment of tension in the ‘triangle’ (Lily-Nacho-Daniela) when Sol comes in. She says Alvaro will be released soon and wants to throw him a welcome back party. And all this led to a discussion.
The fact that Andrada sees every situation as a business opportunity makes him sick. Tomas comes in demanding to know who this mystery chick (Marina) is. Oh, he even wants to go to talk to Nuñez herself. Next, we see him scatter all his possessions to find out the truth and enlists Charly’s help to find out the address. Diego is bringing Alvaro the gift on Sol’s behalf, and still wants to beat the crap out of Pells, and not even Diego’s advice can calm him down.
Sol is organizing the party as Nacho is coming and going between his two women. Tomas is out on the field investigating, and finds out that the house is a theatre school. He can’t do much, though. There’s the competition’s van, but as soon as he sees Sergio, he confronts him about the girl. The response he gets is that if he wants the truth, he should go ask his father about what happened with Alvaro’s show.
Woohoo. Semi-nude Mike. Gonzalo calls Amanda to say he wants to see Martin. It is then when she says that, if the contract is signed, she’ll bring him the actor in a silver platter. So he has no choice but to agree. She gets to the apartment where the real Pells is at and Gonzalo has for the first time a look at the man he’s impersonating. Amanda says that both their fates rely on him, and that he should take that in consideration. And for the first time, Wedell admits she’s one more of Andrada’s victims.
Sol is talking to Franco about how she can’t sustain this anymore, but he’s got a plan as always with all covered. Tomas pours Gonzalo a drink and says he needs to talk, and the first thing Tommy believes is that he’s going to be dumped. But the conversation is to simply come clean regarding Alvaro’s show.
The kiss and make up act (or Clinton act) is another business chance Franco has, and he starts bickering with Ricardo and Amanda. The first points out that for that to work, they need Gonzalo, but the second says not everything was said and done. Sol is getting ready for the air, and has to pretend everything’s so good and wonderful as the cameras roll. She starts off saying that the rumors are true. Tomas, Franco and Nuñez are watching and not believing what is happening with her sudden confession that she wants him back. Oh, and Marina too! This causes her to be surrounded by people who saw the picture. When I said they couldn’t believe it, that brought a wide range of impressions: Happy, sad, etc…
Sol then whines that she now looks like a fool and wants Pells dead when the three evil heads come in (Franco, Ricardo, Amanda) to congratulate her and ask for anything she wants. The rest are decorating the set for the party, the gossip still present. But anyways there’s balloons, cake and champagne. Alvaro is brought back and welcomed by everyone lovingly. And just as everything was great…Gonzalo (who had a visit from Marina earlier) says he’s back.
Casp stop ad.
Sol isn’t exactly thrilled with that and walks off. Well, I understand that they’re all upset that the man’s ambition destroyed Alvaro is making him be the uninvited guest. He goes to deliver Alvaro the papers of his show and that the rights are no longer under his name. But Alvaro says he’s got dignity. So you can kiss the party goodbye…if you don’t count Charly, Diego,, Lily and Nacho gossiping about what took place. The first one, as the informant he is, tells Tomas Martin has returned.
Franco wants to know why Gonzalo came back as they are in his office. He returned by own free will (but actually it’s because of Amanda’s revelation) and because of Sol. Immediately, Franco wants to know who this chick is, but Gonzalo insists that Marina doesn’t know anything and that she should be left out of this. Speaking of Marina, she has gone to Sergio to find out the truth about Gonzalo, and knowing him, I know he’ll crumble under pressure.
Sol is talking to Daniela about how humiliated she feels, and that she could compare this to his confession of being gay. As they are talking, Martin comes in wanting to talk to her. Daniela just advises her to make herself respected. But of course she says he should keep his mouth shut and get out of there if he wants to live. But, as Gonzalo he says he can’t be away from her. Later, she comments to Daniela that she wants to investigate who’s the girl in the picture and wants her to go in the field and investigate. So she does and starts talking to a hot dog cart owner about that. He says it’s a theatre school and the woman Pells was with is one of the students.
Meanwhile, Sergio is back and he seems more thrilled to have his car and credit cards back from Amanda than to help his friend as Nacho tries super hard to not get caught as he’s with his two women and two bottles of champagne, even enlisting Charly’s help for that (from now, I should refer to him and his girls as ‘the triangle’)
Gonzalo is back at the school and Marina is complaining about this love/hate (mostly hate) thing she’s got from people, and she’s surprised he’s wearing a tie and using contacts when he’s a guy against all that. It is then when he reveals him and Pells are one and the same.
You wanted news? Now you have them. Till next episode!
